Above is a screenshot of the data entry page. The sheet is laid out in an easy to use format. The cells that require data have been colored yellow for easy identification. Units are listed to eliminate confusion.

After entering the data, the necessary information has automatically been transfered to the Results page (below), along with the calculated values of the pertinent variables.

The program includes a printout of a blanketing/venting data sheet, and system drawings. Above is a partial screen shot of the Results page. Besides containing the input parameters, and the calculated values additional text appears to further explain the meaning of the results and drawings illustrating the arrangements of blanketing components.

The program calculates:
*Inbreathing, including blanket gas requirements
*Outbreathing
*Sample installation drawings
*and includes reference information on :
**gas specific gravities
**redundant venting
**determining pressure set points
**considerations where API2000 may not be fully applicable
**comments on vapor pressures and boiling

The entire Results, including inputs, calulated variables, explanations and drawings can now be printed.

This program calculates based on API2000 1998, 5th Ed., which is current through November 2009. It does not address the additional considerations in the version released November, 2009.
